19 Nortestosterone FAST ELISA

19-Nortestosterone is an anabolic steroid used as a growth promoting agent in the production of meat. Whilst steroids result in a higher meat:fat ratio, there is a risk that residues will be carried over in the final meat products from the cattle and potentially cause harm to the consumer.  Due to this risk the use of Nortestosterone and its derivatives is banned by the European Commission for use in livestock production.
